DWQA QuestionsCategory: IndividualsFirst time looking for insurance; suggestions? (TN)
AvatarAnonymous asked 4 years ago

So, to set the stage: I turned 26 a few days ago, so I’m off my parents’ insurance.  Recently graduated from university in Tennessee, and am living there now, but didn’t find employment over the past five years due to the demand of my classes.  I’m still in the process of looking, and I’ve had some interviews and interest, but nothing concrete as of yet.

From there, I suppose the question’s basic: from experience, what would you recommend as a good insurance plan in this scenario – and if necessary, who or where could I go to for more information?

(Apologies in advance if this got posted in the wrong category; I really am new to this whole thing.)

Hey, no worries. It can be really confusing – even if you’ve had experience shopping for insurance previously. We pride ourselves on helping Tennesseans navigate the Marketplace to find the best plan possible. The thing is, we all have different needs, lifestyles and budgets, so it’s hard to pinpoint just one plan that would be best for you without first having a conversation with you. Our agents are here from 7am-7pm Central Time. Please feel free to give us a call directly at (615) 541-4257. The deadline for having insurance by January 1st, is December 15th.
